Hey guys!!!! Greetings from cold Loerrach!!!
it was a great Friday. The conference kicked off tonight, and from the onset we all can feel how God is starting to work on people's hearts.
Today, i got the opportunity to meet the youth before their service. Pastor Pedro Ortiz brought the Word, and challenged the German youth to let their hearts burn for the power of the Heliger Geist (That's German for Holy Spirit). On the altar call, almost everyone came up to the altar to cry out for more of God. This youth are really hungry. For me, it was heart touching to see youthe youth here has alost hope on the church, they are held in bondage by fear of doubt. they lack self-confidence. But the God is constantly breaking that mindset.
Before, in the morning, i had the privilege to bring a short exhortation to the members of the team. I challenged them to minister to the Lord first before ministering to the people. There are so many things going on in this trip that it's hard to have time to sit in the presence of the Lord ( i myself am beginning to feel dry). However, this has taught me that if i want to see God moving in people's life, i have to fill my self with the Light of His Spirit, and that only comes by spending time with Christ.
Pastor Boykin also preached at 8 pm to the whole congregation. It was great word about divine moments. A lot of people came up to the altar to make a commitment to the Lord that they will take the divine moment that God puts in their life.
As you can see, it was a blessed and very busy day. We had the opportunity to visit the city of Freiburg. It was your typical German city, very different than downtown Boca Raton, you know.
Please keep me in your prayers, God graciously opened a door for me to bring the word to the youth of this church on thirsday, the night before we leave. this is huge for me. You know how God has placed a burden in my heart for this country. However, i don't want this to be about me and my German obsession...;). I want this to be about the work of the Holy Spirit. He is the one who has the power to break the strongholds of this youth and make them into Fire-starters of Germany and Europe.
Tomorrow, we will go to Swtizerland, we will be near the alps..... i can't wait
Have a blessed weekend.
Gott segne euch!!!!
